Today I ran into some challenges with reports that are exported into Microsoft Word. It’s really difficult to update them in Word, specifically when tables are used in complex reports. In short: The word document does not display the tables nicely, it just displays a collection of text boxes (not 100% of the time, but often). Is this something that has will be improved in a future release? Resolution Summary: Auto-Closed Case - This may be due to a limitation of exporting specifically to Word and how it processes the report. However, you can file an enhancement request for enhanced features.

Jasper Server 9.0.0 on AL 2023

AL2 has an EOL of June 2025. The current AWS image for 9.0.0 is only on AL2. To maintain support the window it will be necessary to get an image of 9.0.0 on AL 2023.

If a new user has been created and a password has been assigned, the administrator should have an option to send the user an email with the login information directly from Jasper without having to copy the whole thing to Outlook. The same would be helpful for a password change by the administrator, e.g. if a user has forgotten their password and requests a new one.

Set background image on dashboard

It will be nice if we could set a background image on a dashboard. Actually, we can't. If we set an image with a component, we can't add another component.

I want the output file name of an ad hoc view to be the title of that report.

When a file is output in ad hoc view, the file name will be something like "aru~" or "Report~". We would like this corrected to be the title of the ad hoc view.

Customer wants solution for: while we are trying to export the Adhoc View report (crosstab) in dashboard, Export functionality is disabled(unable to click on the export icon).
