As Rosetta will no longer be supported in future versions of macOS (starting from version 28, as mentioned here: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/102527, current versions of Jaspersoft Studio will not be able to run on Mac. For Mac users to continue using Jaspersoft Studio in macOS 28, and further, the Apple Silicon (ARM64) version of Jaspersoft Studio should be released and available for download.

I started building a simple native Mac app for myself so I can keep working on the Jasper reports. It’s called Report Studio, works with JasperReports 6.20.3 engine bundled, and is completely free.
