Currently, the database connection string is automatically generated by the script based on the settings in the default_master.properties file. Currently, it is not possible to configure the connection string dynamically. Additionally, custom values added manually in context.xml are not guaranteed to be interpreted correctly by the Jaspersoft Reporting Server application.
Ideally, Jaspersoft would support the dynamic configuration of the connection string in a reliable and officially supported way. This would allow for more flexible deployments and environment-specific configurations, especially in cases where connection details need to be adjusted dynamically rather than being fully controlled through the generated configuration.
