Today, if we export a dashboard that has several dashlets on it and some of those dashlets are charts, they export as images at the size of the dashlet. In many cases (for example, when a dashboard has 6 or 9 dashlets on it), the charts are very "squeezed" and look poor (the expectation is that they will be zoomed for review by a user).
Because the export treats these as images, they look bad in the exported spreadsheet and cannot be zoomed to a readable format, that just results in a large version of an ugly and unreadable image.
