With the licensing model changing with Oracle/Sun Java JDK, providing additional alternatives to Oracle JDK to include additional OpenJDK providers will be beneficial to enterprise consumers.

It was advised by support pertaining to Corretto testing/certification that -- Corretto was only tested and certified with JasperReports Server with AWS AdoptOpenJDK Corretto under an AWS deployment using the buildomatic image; therefore, certification is only provided to support such deployment. Since Amazon provides Corretto for use outside of AWS as a standalone OpenJDK release, it would be desirable to obtain certification to use Amazon Corretto on-prem.
