This request is a very common one with reports developed in Studio and published to the server. When you edit this type of report in JRS, you see the list of ICs, however you can't reorder them without deleting them all and adding them in the order you desire. This is what Aaron is referring to Damayanti.
This feature should be added to Dashboards within Jaspersoft server. Currently if there are multiple input controls in a dashboard and you want to reorder or add a new filter to the top you will need to remove all input controls and then add in one by one. Doing this will then also require you to define the parameter mapping again. Parameter mapping can be complex and time consuming. So any update on this will make the Dashboard solution easier to manage and maintain.
Do you mean re ordering Ad Hoc filters? This is possible in JasperReports Server 8.0. Is there any other place in JasperReports Server where you want this feature?
Yes, this is a must! Used to be there (as Johannes pointed out in another Aha post). Please bring this feature back quickly in Studio and make it easy to do on the Jasper Portal (Jasper Server) UI.
